How we handle your information.

This page describes what data we collect when you use our site or get in touch, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights over it. No tricks, no fine print.

Who is the controller

What data we collect

We only collect what you give us directly: • Contact and event form: name, email, event type, approximate date, guest count, message. • Rental form: name, email, optional phone, dates, optional venue, comments, and the products selected from the catalogue. • Newsletter: your email only. We do not collect data from minors. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

Why we collect it

Every piece of data we ask for has a specific purpose: • To respond to your event or rental enquiry, legal basis: performance of a pre-contractual measure at your request. • To send you the newsletter only if you subscribed and confirmed the double opt-in, legal basis: your explicit consent, withdrawable at any time. • To keep basic records of past events for tax and quality purposes, legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest.

Who we share it with

Your information is processed through providers that help us operate the service. They are our data processors: • Resend (United States), sending transactional emails and newsletter, managing the subscriber list. Policy: resend.com/legal/privacy. • Vercel (United States), hosting the website and anonymous performance metrics. Policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. • Sanity (Finland, EU), content management. Does not receive your personal form data. • Cloudinary (United States), optimised image delivery. Does not receive identifiable personal data. Transfers to the US rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or the Data Privacy Framework when applicable. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

• Event and rental enquiries: up to five years from the last interaction, for tax purposes and to resume recurring conversations. • Newsletter: until you request to unsubscribe. The unsubscribe link is at the bottom of every email, one click is enough. • Performance metrics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights): aggregated, without personal identifiers, retained according to Vercel's policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: • Access your data. • Rectify what is inaccurate. • Erase your data when no longer necessary. • Port your data to another controller. • Object to or restrict the processing. • Withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time. • Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe we mishandle your data. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@greenjaribiza.com with your request. We respond within 30 days.

Cookies and measurement tools

We use three types of cookies and services: • NECESSARY. Essential for the site to work. They store your rental cart in your browser (key gj_cart_v1, 24 hours) and your cookie choice (gj_consent_v1, 6 months). No consent required. • ANALYTICS. Google Analytics 4 (GA4), if you accept. Measures page views, time on page, traffic source and events like form submissions. Cookies _ga and _ga_V07H1DDW1G (2 years). When you reject, GA4 still counts visits anonymously without cookies (Google Consent Mode v2), aggregated, with no identifier. • MARKETING. Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), if you accept. Measures the effectiveness of our campaigns and lets us show you relevant ads on Meta. Cookies _fbp and fr (90 days). If you reject, the Meta code is not loaded into your browser. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for site performance (Core Web Vitals). These are cookieless and aggregated; no consent needed. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Your decision is kept for 6 months; after that we ask again.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy substantially, we will announce it in the newsletter and update the last-updated date at the top of the document. Minor changes (corrections, wording) are applied without notice but reflected in the date.
