Why Alquimia

Cocktail-making as a craft. Not a trend.

Ibiza is the right place to learn this. The rhythm of the season, the quality of the produce, the kind of clientele that walks into a bar here, all of it asks more from a bartender than a city-centre bar would.

We teach the way we work: making everything in-house. Syrups, ferments, infusions, juices. If you can't break a cocktail down into the components you made yourself, you don't really understand it yet.

Every course includes circular practice from day one. Reusing peels, reducing waste, designing menus around what's available. This isn't optional on an island, and it's the future of every bar.

Course 01 · Foundation

Cocteles 1

The classics, dissected.

You leave understanding why a Negroni works, and how to ruin it on purpose.

Who it's for

Aspiring bartenders. No formal experience required.

  • Tools, ratios, methods, shake, stir, build, layered
  • 30 classic cocktails memorised, by hand
  • Service technique: timing, posture, language

Course 02 · Advanced

Cocteles 2

Beyond the recipe book.

Fermentation, clarification, building signature drinks from raw ingredients.

Who it's for

Bartenders with at least one season of professional experience.

  • In-house production: shrubs, syrups, infusions, ferments
  • Building a full menu around one ingredient family
  • Zero-waste menu design, circular technique applied

Acrobatic Bartending

The performance side of the craft.

Taught with discipline, not as a party trick.

Who it's for

Any level. Performance-oriented bartenders.

  • Foundation movements: bottle work, tin work, garnish flair
  • Choreography for live service, not just for shows
  • Safety and control under pressure
