Ibiza Cocktail Week 2025: one week, one community.

Seven days when cocktail culture left the bars and took over theaters, squares and beaches. Professionals, brands and public on the same agenda for a week.

The second edition of Ibiza Cocktail Week (ICW) brought together professionals, brands and the island's public for seven days. A week that confirmed there's talent behind Ibiza's bars, not only landscape on the coast.

The kickoff: Ibiza Tray Race

The opening had a sporty touch. 500 meters through the cobblestone streets of Dalt Vila, with one hand, one tray, one can of Monster and a glass. Speed, balance and €800 in prizes for the fastest man and woman. An opening that immediately connected hospitality pros and cocktail lovers from day one.

Teatro Pereyra: the heart of the show

The iconic Teatro Pereyra hosted the Flair qualifier for El Gran Bartender Ibiza, with international talent competing for a spot in the final.

Off stage, the venue transformed into a liquid playground: a fair with over 20 exhibiting brands and a circuit of challenges, each with €150 in prize money. Blind tasting with Bacardí. Which agave is this? with Mezcal Cómplice. Express Margarita with Tequila Padrecito. Coldest Daiquiri with OTC Group. Amarena hunt with Fabbri. Coca-Cola Western. Fastest Espresso Martini with Compagnia dei Caraibi. Blind Paloma with Mezcal Amarás.

At the center of the hall, an ice sculpture of more than 100 kg served drinks from the top through the entire block, ending in a chilled and slightly diluted dose at the base. The piece is signed by Hielo Pitiuso, Ibiza's ice master.

The storm and the final

A historic storm flooded central Ibiza and blocked many roads mid-week. The organization had to rework logistics on the fly. The Author Cocktail (Classic) and Flair Grand Finals took place on the planned day. More than €4,000 awarded to top finalists. Over €6,000 in total prizes across the week.

El Gran Bartender Ibiza Awards

Classic (Author Cocktail): Luis Tovar — €1,000. Salva Bastida — €500. Saúl Llata — €300. Flair (Acrobatic Bartending): Denis Trifanov — €2,000. Michael Moreni — €1,000. Alexander De Leo — €700. Franco Desiata — €300. Kiril Rudak — €150. Best Woman: Adri De Lucia — €200.

The Bar Route

For three days, 8 bars in Ibiza turned the city into a cocktail trail filled with exclusive drinks and new connections. The ICW wristband gave access to special prices and public voting for Best Cocktail, Best Km0 Cocktail, Best Bar and Best Bartender. Participating bars: Boodiou, Chidas, 1805, Piña Bar, La Esquina, Paradise Lost, Es Mercat and La Tapería.

At the closing brunch the winners were announced. Best Bartender: Louis Espinasse (Boodiou). Best Bar: La Tapería. Best Cocktail: "El Bestia" — Francesca Polese (La Tapería). Best Km0 Cocktail: "Bullit de Pomelo" — Alejandro Barron (Es Mercat).

The bar is also culture. And the community behind it shows up.

What we take away

Beyond a packed schedule, this edition left real learning, exchange between professionals, and a local network that keeps adding people. The lesson came from what wasn't in the program.

Despite the storm and the bad weather all week, the bartender community, the brands and the venues stood firm. Events went ahead. Bars stayed full. The public's energy did the rest.

In Ibiza the bar is also culture. The community behind it shows up when it counts.
